11:15-11:45 Anglo-German School Presentation by Kenard Lehners (KGS Rastede / Academy of English)

 

In the first two weeks of October, Kenard Lehners took part in the eighth language exchange of the Academy of English and attended the High Arcal School for two weeks. Listen to his school experiences and learn about some of the differences and similarities between an English comprehensive school and a German KGS.

How did Great Britain’s National Library for Languages, known as the CILT Library, make its way from London via Cambridge to Oldenburg? What is the collection all about? How does the collection fit into the Academy’s future? These questions will be answered in a presentation given by Dr. John Goodyear about the newly named John Trim Memorial Library. The talk will take place in the John Trim Memorial Room and last for around 30 minutes before a 15-minute Question and Answer (Q&A) Session rounds off this presentation.
